emadi

everyone makes a difference

Available from 2027

emadi is a digital, purpose-built environment for distributing and tracking the completion of tasks. It reduces administrative effort for organisers, creates clarity, and strengthens your community.

Efficient Processes

The heart of collaboration isn't the administration around it. That's why work contributions should be managed with as little effort as possible.

Reduce misunderstandings and prevent follow-up questions

Communication takes place directly at the task level, so context is never lost. Important information can be made immediately visible to everyone else.

Support at year-end

Required hours, actual hours, and shortfalls are tracked clearly. An export tailored to your needs makes billing for unworked hours as straightforward as possible.

Reminders and automatic notifications

Parents and teachers have so much on their plate — they shouldn't have to constantly keep parent participation in mind. Notifications minimise missed appointments and show the current status at a glance.

Individual configuration of emadi: colours, terminology, workflows, and many other elements

As individual as your school

We know that not only students and families differ, but also the structures within schools and communities. That's why flexibility is one of our core values — and why we configure emadi at the start to fit your existing processes and optimise them further.

Extensive settings

We aim to make as many aspects of emadi configurable as possible. Should tasks be confirmed automatically? Can parents suggest tasks themselves? Which fields are mandatory for a task? What roles exist in your community?

Visual customisation

Colours, logo, page layout, and labels are all configurable. Do you call parent participation 'EMA' — or maybe 'EA'?

Handle special situations constructively

Other systems focus on standard workflows for parent participation. But what about edge cases? Those still need to be resolved somehow outside the system and forced into existing processes. With our flexible system, even special situations can be handled efficiently.

From booking confirmations to inviting friends for joint tasks to sending thank-you messages after completion — emadi fosters community spirit and gratitude at every step.

Belonging and gratitude as the key to participation

Feeling a sense of belonging and being appreciated reliably motivates people to take responsibility. emadi supports community spirit and promotes the expression of gratitude for every contribution.

Message templates for booking confirmations and reminders

Imagine booking a task and receiving a confirmation that explains how your contribution, together with others, improves the daily life of children or strengthens the school community. Our templates put the significance of the booked task for the community front and centre.

A completed task means recognition

In the bustle of daily life, gratitude often gets overlooked. emadi builds appreciation into its workflows. After a task is completed, coordinators can be prompted to send all helpers a short message — with the photo of the full buffet, or simply a thank-you.

Book a task together with friends

Working together with others on a task is placed centre stage. Both parents and coordinators can invite familiar families to complete a task together. They simply need to confirm the invitation.

This is our vision

Aron Strack, co-founder, smiling man in his mid-thirties

"A strong school community is essential for our children's wellbeing. Montessori schools therefore deeply involve parents in the school family. To make this feel less like parental "work" and more like genuine togetherness, we are building emadi:
Because why should managing tasks still be a headache in today's world?"

Aron Strack

Yvonne Berl, co-founder, smiling woman, long open hair

"I want to use emadi to organise collaboration efficiently. Digitalisation is a great help for that. But humanity must not be lost in the process — and it's especially important to me that the system remains flexible and as many functions as possible stay configurable."

Yvonne Berl

Alexander Berl, co-founder, smiling man, short dark hair, short beard, glasses

"As parents of Montessori students, we know that the heart of a school is supporting learning. Ambiguities and special situations in workflows should be constructively solvable. Efficiency, constructiveness, and flexibility are therefore the core values of our platform."

Alexander Berl

Yes — you pay per member/student with us. This means the price scales seamlessly to your size.

Flexibility is one of our core values. At the start, we'll ask you lots of questions about how things work in your organisation.

A contract covers one school year so you experience the full emadi process. But we're confident you'll want to keep working with us.

Yes — during the development phase, that's still possible. We won't be able to complete all features at once, but we'll do our best to make as many useful features available as quickly as possible.

We're probably not getting rich from this. We're building emadi out of conviction, not to make big profits. If the time we've invested is covered by your usage in a few years' time, we'll be absolutely happy.

Efficiency, constructiveness, flexibility, and belonging are the core values of our platform. We try to align all prioritisations and decisions with these values.
